Poppins Reincarnated |
| In
the opening scene Mary Poppins is accidentally killed she is sucked
into the engine of a Bowing 747. Due to the script writers lack
of intelligence (and the fact that he had never seen the first
film) he cast Mary Poppins as a black gangster kid living on the
streets of Las Vegas. In the final scene the body count rockets
when Mary (Will Smith) gets mad and shoots all the kids. It does
also leave a third movie open when she is killed but awakes as
a baby in a hospital 3 miles away. Luckily the British Censors
didn't even grant it a certificate. So it was only seen in a certain
British palace.

the (cough) success of other live action big screen versions of
cartoons the Simpsons decided to make the jump. During filming
the entire cast required covering in yellow paint on a twice daily
basis. It wasn't until the death of the baby who was to play Maggie
that they were tipped off as to perhaps using a slightly less
toxic brand of paint. The film itself didn't pan out, partially
due to the high cost of paint, the even higher cost of compensation
to its actors and of course the lack of plot.
