The return of Porter Jones
Nine Part story written by Doive (Age 9)

Part One

After being sent to Jail for 2 years Porter Jones now at the age of eleven returned home and knocked on his front door.

"Hi Sonny, How can I help you" Said Mr Jones (Porter's Dad)

"Dad It's me Porter .You know" Said Porter happily, "It's me!!!"

"Who Is It Dear "Said Porter's Mum from the settee?????

"Oh ,Only some idiot claiming to be Porter", said Mr Jones sarcastically, slamming the door on Porter, who slowly plodded next door to Michael Greengrocer's house .But he sadly saw a removal van driving away. Michael and Family had moved away .Porter then decided to say "Hello" to the new occupants. Porter rang the doorbell , but there was no answer ,he rang it again and a slow plodding noise came from inside as if an elephant was slowly walking down the stairs on it's hind legs.

Porter now getting really agitated whacked the door with his fist. The wood of the door was made into 50 planks of wood all lying by Porter's feet. When he looked to have a glance at the residence he saw a huge guard dog, and it was staring Porter in the eyes .Before Porter could blink the dog was on top of him , but suddenly he heard a familiar voice calling off the dog. He opened his eyes and saw Michael standing there in his dressing gown clutching a girl. Michael's face was covered in lipstick ,and as he saw Porter his mouth fell open .The girl was 'Stephanie Jordan' a girl in Porter's class in infant school who fainted instantly.

"Hey ,Michael ,It's me Porter" Said Porter "I've changed"

"Oh yeah ,Well you still knocked my door down "Said Michael

"OK I get agitated sometimes but unless you annoy me I promise I won't hit you at all ,and I have nowhere to stay, my Dad won't let me home...!"Porter said.

"You have to prove to him somehow you have changed by doing something really big to get in his good books?" proposed Michael

"But how?” asked Porter

"Your Tricks!"

"how"

"What paper does your dad get"

"The Daily News ,Why?"

"Change the Headline!!!"

"Have you got a typewriter?"

"Yes So We'll ..."

The following Morning Porter rushed out and got the paper from the paperboy. With Michael's professional Typing and with Porter pasting and Gluing ,New Front Cover was completed in almost no time at all and Porter posted it through the letterbox.

Mr Jones immediately picked up the paper and began to read the Sport's page at the back paying no attention to the cover .He then put it on the settee and left for work. Next to get up was Mrs Jones , She completely ignored the paper, got breakfast ,got dressed and left for work. Last to get up was Mark (Porter's Goodie Goodie brother) ,He looked at the front page in astonishment ,and it read :

PORTER JONES SAVES LIFE OF JOHN MAJOR!!!!!!!!!

"PORTER JONES , I didn't know" and then he got ready for school and left, This rumour spread through the school until it hit the press and people were banging on Michael Greengrocer's door and asking for a speech.

One day after the trick had started, Porter's mum went over to complain about the noise ,and saw Porter standing in the doorway, his mum hugged him and took him and Porter got home but that's not the end yet.
