Aqua-hamsters

Aqua hamsters are the new craze sweeping through Wales particularly in Swansea and the valleys. The government had to give the GM crops to someone since it seemed unfair to give it all to the needy countries given all the health risks. The affect of the GM foods mixed in with the hamster form of CJD (which they caught from the excess BSE infected cattle they “forgot” to burn) was the aqua hamster. The RSPCA already found out and it's leaders were killed, then buried under The Dome (That's why the thing is losing money and tourism - The bad smell you see).

Then last year Bill Gates found out so they threatened to split up Microsoft™ if he told. So he didn't. Then the hamsters were hidden in a house in the middle of nowhere. Unfortunately it's construction aroused suspicion especially the video cameras. That's why they made up a story about a bunch of people being trapped in a house and voted out one by one. Unfortunately the idea caught on and some bright spark invented the programme Big Brother.  Eventually they were found inside a warehouse in Swansea by a greedy pet shop owner.

Before the government could organise another cover up the things were everywhere. The government lined up train crashes, petrol shortages and flooding to wipe out the critters and eventually got them confined to the south of Wales. The government is already planning a plague to wipe out the areas and rid the world of the menace caused by the aqua hamsters that are particularly likely to kill goldfish. Not right away mind you. Usually they wait until the fish has forgotten they are there and then they pounce devouring them whole!
